Places and Routes: the Veronese plain

The Bed & Breakfast "Corte San Tomaso' is located in the municipality of Bonavigo, in the plain of Verona, 3km from the center of Legnago, the main center of the plain of Verona.
The particular geographical position, equidistant from the major cities of the Veneto, allows guests to visit with short trips the most important tourist resorts and cities of the region.
Less than 40km away it will be possible to reach Verona, the city with the “Arena” with its lyrical festival and the city of Romeo and Juliet, but also Mantova with its rich palaces and cultural festivals, such as Vicenza, the city of Palladio, wrapped in the gentle setting of Berici.
About 50km away it is possible to reach the Garda Lake, with its famous villages and the largest amusements parks in Italy such as Gardaland, but also Padova, Rovigo and Ferrara.

As at 90 km (about 1:15 hours) you can reach the capital city of Veneto, Venice.
All these destinations are easily accessible through a network of highways and roads that allow fast trips. Many cities are also easily reachable by train from Legnago.
For those who love cycling, there are numerous bike paths in the area, including one that passes along the banks of the Adige river in front of the B & B. On the top right of the bank of the Adige river passes the now famous cycle track "From Alps to Adriatic" between the South Tyrol and Rosolina Mare, along an entirely paved path.
Tens of kilometers that you can walk along rivers and canals, arriving in the Valli Grandi Verona, reclamation area with some areas still preserved as marshes and wildlife reserves.
